Dear Mr. Ledbetter,

Today in school I learned about Beethoven, Pablo Picasso, spelling and pretended I was president.

Beethoven poured ice water on his head to stimulate his brain.

Picasso thinks of himself as a practical jokester and he is an artist. His art is very confusing because it over laps. You can't tell where one thing stops and the other thing starts. He was born in Spain in 1881. In a portrait of himself he made his hands out of breadsticks.

For spelling I did rainbow words. That is where you write the word with one color and then you write it two more times with a different color.

I made a campaign poster on-line. I put John McCain on my poster.

I was running for president on-line. My main concerns were global warming, the war in Iraq and education. I won over 270 electoral votes. While I was president the people who helped me were William Treehugger, Thomas Teacher and General Betsy Battle. I balanced the budget and I gave each program 20%. I had to answer the press' questions. Then I was in the newspaper.

What did you do today?

From,
Kami

Now that's a busy day. Beethoven is one of my favorites. Fur Elise and Moonlight Sonata are to of his finest works. Great job on the blog and I would vote for you.

Love,
Dad

Miss Kameron-

Thank you for mentioning my name on your blog, you absolutely made my day! It sounds like you had a busy day!

I poured ice water on my head once but it wasn't to stimulate my brain. But, it is nice to know that I have something in common with Beethoven.

Today I went to work, with your Dad, and then I came home and put together a crib for the baby that my wife and I are expecting soon. It was tough but I finally finished it. I also put together a stroller. Who knew that you actually had to put together a stroller? After all the had work I had BBQ chicken, rice and peas for dinner. Make sure to eat your veggies!

If you were running for president I would vote for you. It sounds like you have your priorities in order and I agree with your main concerns. Watch out for William Treehugger though, I am not sure about that guy.

Thanks again for mentioning me on your blog. As soon as Tricia and I get baby Abby here, we will bring her over to visit you again. Have fun in school tomorrow.

From,
Mr. Ledbetter

Tell you mama to vote for Obama! :) I just like the way that sounds. It sounds like homeschooling is going really well and you have been learning such interesting things. Keep it up!
